The University of Nebraska Foundation is pleased to announce that they have appointed Joe Selig as Vice President of Development for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He will work with university leadership to organize and direct campus fundraising efforts, a role he had been serving in an interim capacity. His team includes development officers assigned to UNL colleges and affiliates. Selig provided 23 years of service to the UNL athletics department before joining the University of Nebraska Foundation in 2003 as Vice President for Major Gifts. In 2007, he was appointed Vice President, Director of Development for the foundation’s Omaha office. The University of Nebraska Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization raising private gifts to support the University of Nebraska for more than 77 years.
