Ray’s Lawn and Home Care is pleased to announce they are celebrating their 45th anniversary in March. Ray’s Lawn and Home Care was founded in March of 1966 by Ray and Mabel Svoboda. All four sons eventually worked for the company and currently Ken and Larry Svoboda own the family business and Mabel is actively involved in the daily operation. Ray Svoboda passed away in July of 2010.
Ray’s is the oldest lawn company in Lincoln and one of the oldest family operations in Nebraska. Ray’s is a full service lawn and landscape operation and offers lawn treatments, mowing, full landscape design and installation for residential and commercial customers. The company has 40 employees and supports industry and civic organizations such as HBAL, LIBA, LCOC, Junior Achievement, West ‘A’ Neighborhood and the Willard Community Center.
