Love fashion and design? Fresh Start invites you to attend the 2nd annual Project Funway event on Friday, November 18 at the Lincoln Firefighters’ Reception Hall (241 Victory Ln). Last year’s event sold out weeks in advance!
Local designers and UNL students are creating garments from recycled clothing. Thrift store clothing will be transformed into high fashion garments. The event will include a runway show of the designs, silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts. Guests and a panel of judges will select the winning designs.
All proceeds will benefit Fresh Start, a non-profit transitional housing program for homeless women offering case management and supportive services.
