Travis Nelson is pleased to announce he is running for City Council, District 3. The Primary Election is Tuesday, April 5th and the General Election is May 3rd.
Travis wants to open up the process to citizens more than what they have now and provide them with a strong voice. As a small businessman, he knows the struggles businesses are facing right now and the need for Lincoln’s working families to tighten their belts. He believes our city leaders must take a closer look at the city’s budget and find more efficient ways to deliver the services to people who need them. He believes Lincoln families can’t afford any new taxes to pay for more government. Travis wants to be the citizens’ voice to take the city in the direction of lower taxes, more transparency, good jobs and economic development.
