Two months, two recipes and two different genres will be performing for the Whispering Pines Bed and Breakfast Concert Series. On August 25 you can experience Andina & Rich and on September 8, Connor Garvey. Both show times are Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
Andina & Rich combine singing, guitar, yodeling and humor that is wonderful for every family member. Connor Garvey mixes folk-funk guitar and ukulele, soulful vocals and paradoxical metaphors in his songs and offers a connectable approach in his live performances.
Stavas is a member of an online community that links hosts with musicians which helps in her efforts to schedule upcoming shows. She plans to continue the series through the fall and possibly into winter, and has a schedule available hosting one concert on a Thursday each month. Lodging packages may also be available for certain shows.
Simple snacks are provided. Guests may bring their own beverages or enjoy samplings from sponsoring local wineries. A $10 donation to the performers the night of is suggested. Guests should RSVP in advance to reserve a seat.
Whispering Pines Bed and Breakfast is located at 2018 6th Avenue in historic Nebraska City.
