Last Month: SCC’s Course Restaurant

By dining at SCC’s Course Restaurant, you’re not just getting a delicious meal, you’re supporting culinary students as a part of their training at SCC’s Great Plains Culinary Institute. Course is designed to provide the public with a 4-star dining experience through an educational experience in the culinary arts programs. With four appetizers, six entrees, and four desserts to choose from, guests have a number of dining options. Lunch prices range from $4-$6 for the first course, $10-$12 for the main course, and $4 each for the dessert course. Lunch menu is à la carte or you may choose the three course pre-fixe for $18. This summer quarter, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Reservations are not required.

This Month: Screamers Dining and Cabaret

Screamers Dining and Cabaret LogoOn behalf of our entire Strictly Business team, we would like to invite you to our next Friends4Lunch event on Wednesday, October 10 at 11:30 a.m. at Screamers Dining and Cabaret located at 803 Q St. in the Historic Haymarket. Screamers is inspired by the former UNL show choir, The Scarlet & Cream Singers (a.k.a. Screamers). With a sultry jazz/cabaret/nightclub feel combined with high-energy live performances, guests are whisked back to a bygone era. Screamers Dining and Cabaret is a full-service, family-friendly restaurant and bar with live entertainment performed daily by the staff. Lunch features the most popular music of a different decade daily, there’s a piano bar happy hour each weekday afternoon, and in the evening, the servers perform a variety of music from all genres and time periods. (Lunch prices are approx. $9-$14).
