Nebraska Hearing Center enriches people’s lives through better hearing. We have been serving Lincoln and Beatrice, and surrounding areas, for over 40 years. At Nebraska Hearing Center we pride ourselves in providing valuable expertise combined with top-notch customer service and cutting-edge technology. In addition to audiology services, we also offer hearing aid cleaning and repair for walk-ins.

Nebraska Hearing Center offers complimentary hearing evaluations because we firmly believe in prevention and want to encourage you to monitor your hearing from year to year.
At Nebraska Hearing Center we believe in information. Our goal is to educate so that you can make an informed decision.
Thirdly, we put a face behind our name. All of the testing and consulting is done by me personally. Along with being a board certified audiologist, I have over 16 years of experience and more than 13 years at Nebraska Hearing Center.
What do you like about doing business in Lincoln?
Lincoln is a great place to do business because we have the opportunity to get well acquainted with our clients. While working closely with our clients, we establish a relationship and get to know all about them – their work, families, hobbies, etc. Lincoln is large enough, but you still have the small town atmosphere.
What kind of community organizations/groups are you involved with?
At Nebraska Hearing Center, we donate a portion of every fitting to the Starkey Hearing Foundation which fits underprivileged children with hearing aids. Locally, we work with the Lions and Sertoma Clubs in assisting those who need aids.
What has been your most important achievement as a business?
We get to give people their lives back through improved hearing. It is really rewarding when a client tells us how they are hearing things they didn’t even know they were missing.
What is one of the biggest challenges that your company has faced?
Our biggest challenge is getting people to realize that hearing is a critical part of their overall healthcare routine. It is just as important as your physical health and sight. We encourage people to get tested and establish a baseline, and then to follow-up that routine annually. Since the evaluation is complimentary, it really makes sense to be proactive.
What do you see happening with the business in the next five years?
One word – Technology. Today’s hearing device is very different from Grandma’s. Devices are so small now that others won’t know you are wearing aids unless you tell them. Nebraska Hearing Center has devices that stream directly from your phone and there are also devices that can help with tinnitus, a constant ringing in the ears.
Our customers appreciate the latest in technology as it helps them to keep pace with their busy lifestyles. At Nebraska Hearing Center, we are always training for what is coming around the corner.
