“Our industry calls it an assisted living facility. We like to call it home or a new place in your life’s journey. There are reasons you may be considering a move. We promise that while we can never replace your home, we are going to try to make you feel like you never left. At The Waterford, we do everything we can to ensure that you always feel at home. We encourage you to make choices based on your own needs. We urge you to maintain your independence and the quality of life that you desire. Our team of professionals is here to serve you with dignity and respect and they will ensure your wellbeing and safety.
We provide a home‐like atmosphere and environment, which includes a long list of amenities and activities. But most importantly, and the reason we receive consistently high ratings, is the team of professionals that serve and support our residents.
Each member of our team is carefully selected and trained in our culture and beliefs. Team members must adopt our “servant heart” culture. Servanthood requires a mental shift – focusing on others rather than yourself. Our team members think about their responsibilities and their duty to fulfill the promise we made to make you feel at home.” – Christy Merritt, Executive Director
At the Waterford Communities we are proud of our open-door policy; family members and friends of our residents are always welcome to visit. If you are considering one of our residences, we would love to have you stop in and meet our amazing team of caregivers and administrators.
