Two Men And A Truck of Lincoln is a full service local and long distance moving company. They provide packing and unpacking services and carry a complete line of boxes and packing materials and have been in Lincoln for 14 years.
Who are the owners/important executives?
Eileen Marrison is the owner. She also owns the Omaha franchise. Jason Christenson is the General Manager in Lincoln.
What do you think makes you different from other companies similar to yours?
Two Men And A Truck is different than other local moving companies in that all of our employees are our full time employees. We do not use any temp or day labor services. When our guys are hired they go through an extensive in house training class. They are also drug tested before they start working for us and on an ongoing basis after that.
What do you like about doing business in Lincoln?
Dealing with the friendly, easy to get along with people.
What kind of community organizations/groups are you involved with?
Two Men And A Truck is heavily involved in the community, we are active in the Chamber of Commerce, LIBA and YPG. Our general manager, Jason Christenson is a member of the mayor’s Audit Advisory Board.
We routinely do charity work for The Friendship Home, The Foster Care Closet, The People’s City Mission, The Center for People in Need, The LIBA Foundation Auction and The Lincoln Food Bank.

Our philosophy is that Two Men And A Truck is not just a moving company but a customer service company.
What changes have you seen in the industry and your company in the past few years?
In the last few years a lot more people seem to be moving themselves, leaving fewer moves for the moving companies. That seems to be turning around with the economy.
What do you see happening with the business in the next five years?
With the economy coming back, we expect to see a lot of growth over the next five years.
What is one of the biggest challenges that your company has faced?
One of our biggest challenges has been keeping enough employees to complete all of the work we get. We have great guys, but we could always use more.
What has been your most important achievement as a business?
We are most proud of our community involvement.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about your business that most people don’t know?
Most people don’t know that the moving industry in Nebraska is regulated by the Nebraska Public Service Commission.
What is one goal for your business that you have yet to accomplish?
In the future we would like to build our own building and add storage facilities.
