With the baby boomer populations exploding and the idea of residual income, Bryan Oswald thought it just made sense for him to get his health and life insurance license so he began learning the business.  He is now a licensed Senior Health Insurance Advisor and works with seniors to educate them on their rights, options and entitlements with the Medicare program.  He provides Medicare Supplements, long-term care, life, disability and annuities through his own agency Oswald Insurance Inc..

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?
The biggest challenge for me was starting out in the insurance business with no clients, no salary and hearing lot of “no’s”.  Thank God for ramen noodles!

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I was on Real Stories of the Highway Patrol and played the part of a juvenile escaping a detention facility.  Evidently I wasn’t the best actor because my television career never really took off.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to have the ability to use hypnosis in my business.  That way if they say “I have to think about it” or “I want to shop around”, I just hypnotize them!  On a serious note, I wish I had the ability to read someone’s mind to see what they are thinking.  Is it cost, confusion, me, competition, etc.?

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Nothing, I’m perfect!  Not really, I have several weaknesses including my golf game, organization, diet…procrastination.  If I could change one, procrastination would be #1.
