Dave Hastreiter grew up with a father who enjoyed working in the yard, which led him to working for a garden center in high school.  After graduating from UNL, Dave was employed by a wide variety of ‘green industry’ professions and then decided to purchase Pro-Scapes in 2004.  Pro-Scapes Professional Landscape Services was originally started in 1999 and is a landscape development and management company creating outdoor spaces that function, are sustainable and are enjoyable to use.  Pro-Scapes designs, builds and maintains landscapes for both residential and commercial clients, including new construction and renovation of outdoor spaces.  Projects vary from a simple entry garden to a more backyard retreat.  Maintenance program services are tailored to the site, client requests and plant requirements. They offer spring clean ups, plant bed edging and re-mulching as well as pruning, trimming and necessary treatments and fall clean up.  Dave also operates Festive Expressions, a holiday lighting and décor business they added in the fall of 2004.
