Tell us a little about your family.
The majority of my family lives here in Lincoln, including my mom and her husband, my grandmas, aunts, uncles and cousins. I am the oldest sibling and have twin sisters. They both have toddler-aged sons and live in Omaha. My dad, step mom and little brother, Spencer, live in Vancouver, Washington….always a great place to visit!

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
A mentor of mine told me she would teach me everything she knows if I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and took a leap of faith in the business. Isn’t it funny how sometimes people around you see more in you than you see in yourself? It was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done, but I’m proud to say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
I love being outside. From backcountry bike trips to golfing or sitting by the pool, being outdoors is where I recharge my batteries.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I lived in Spain for six months while I was in college and I speak Spanish fluently—well, I think I’m still fluent, anyway.

What are you the most proud of?
My work ethic. I’ve always been competitive, and that drive helped me land a job right out of college and advance rather quickly.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
You can’t fail if you don’t try, but you also risk never learning or growing.

What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish?
One personal goal is to vacation in Argentina where I can snowboard in the mountains and sunbathe on the beach in the same day.  A professional goal is to advance in the industry and be in a position where I’m making decisions as a member of the executive team.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
Although I’ve never taken a dance lesson, I have rhythm and consider myself to be a pretty decent dancer.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to speak more languages fluently, including Russian.

What is your favorite movie?
The original Footloose and old-school Disney flicks, such as The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins. And I can’t pass up action or comedy flicks, like Die Hard and Wedding Crashers.

What is your favorite TV show?
It used to be Friends but anymore, I love Top Chef.

What is your favorite Lincoln restaurant?
Depends on the day – anything from Lazlo’s or Valentino’s, to Kinja, Venue or Dish

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be?
It’s a toss-up between Michael Jordan or Walt Disney.
