Lindsey Reinke has been a part of John Henrys from the very beginning as her parents started it out of their home.  After graduating from Doane College, she has become very involved in the business and enjoys the marketing and human resources aspects she now oversees.  John Henrys is not a typical plumbing, heating and air conditioning business.  They are very progressive with office hours seven days a week from 7 am to 7 pm with no overtime, plus true 24-hour service available.  Going the extra mile for their customers is their number one goal.

Tell us a little about your family. – I have been married for just over four years to my amazing husband Joe. He is also involved in the business. We have one son, Declan, who is 8 months old. He has been such a blessing in our lives.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Developing an attitude that no one can stop me. By having that attitude, everything in life has been a little bit better.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Spend time with my husband and son. We love traveling, playing outside and spending time with our families.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I am running in my first 5k/mud run in September with proceeds going towards breast cancer awareness.

What are you the most proud of? – I am proud of who I have become by working hard and staying on course. The result is I have no regrets in life.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – Any and all advice from my parents. They have been good role models. They run their company with high standards and ethics. Their goals do not waiver. They followed their dreams and I plan to continue that.

What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish? – Get closer to mastering the world of marketing. It’s an exciting and challenging part of our business that is ever-changing.

How would your friends describe you? – I asked and they said I am a great mom, caring, outgoing, organized, funny, outspoken, easy going, and compassionate.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – I like people and want to be more involved in the community to make a difference. For instance, there are organizations that support young business people or women in business. That’s probably next.

Which talent would you most like to have? – To become a master in bringing out the best in people so I can help them advance in their careers. It’s fun to see people grow and be confident.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? – Well, I am 5’2” tall. I would like to be a little taller, but at 27 that won’t happen!

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell.

What is your favorite movie? – Sweet Home Alabama

What is your favorite TV show? – Greys Anatomy

What is your favorite Lincoln restaurant? – I have many favorites, but the Venue is probably on top of the list.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? – Zig Ziglar. He would be full of great advice!
