Jack Russell to Serve as Full-Time Policy & Research Coordinator at LIBA
Jack Russell has been working part-time as policy & research coordinator with the Lincoln Independent Business Association (LIBA, liba.org) since June 2021 while he finished up his last semester at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As of January 1, Jack will work in this position full time until he begins law school at UNL in August. He is looking forward to assisting members navigate local government and ensure they are aware of any policy issues that may affect their business.
Jack graduated in December with a degree in economics and minors in political science and public policy. Previously, he served in the Nebraska Governor’s office, where he handled constituent services. Before that, he worked on the campaign of Congressman Jeff Fortenberry here in Lincoln. Jack hopes to eventually have a role at a large company focusing on government relations or work for an independent lobbying firm.
The Lincoln Independent Business Association provides leadership and educational opportunities to Lincoln’s business community.
