Natalie Leon, owner of Visiting Angels in Lincoln (visitingangels.com/lincoln), is celebrating her fifth year in business. Natalie remembers starting out with a card table as a desk and a strong desire to provide a better life for elders who want to stay in their home.

Natalie has been in the healthcare industry for over 17 years now, dating back to high school when she started as a CNA and medication aide in a memory care nursing home setting. She transitioned to in-home caregiving and found her calling. Natalie fell in love working with the clients and family members and knew at a very early age it was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.

Natalie discovered Visiting Angels while exploring opportunities to open her own business. She researched several home care companies. The thing she liked about Visiting Angels is they have the most thorough discerning process. They were very selective and thorough when screening applicants and have a comprehensive education process.

Some of the services provided by Visiting Angels include: assistance in bathing, dressing, and walking; meal preparation/diet monitoring; light housekeeping; errands and shopping; medication reminders; joyful companionship; and respite care for family caregivers. Temporary or long-term care is available mornings, midday, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.
