All members of Nebraska’s federal delegation — Sens. Ben Nelson and Mike Johanns, and Reps. Lee Terry, Jeff Fortenberry and Adrian Smith — will be in attendance to converse with constituents.

Young professionals are invited to a special gathering after the Legislative Summit.  The agenda will be:

1 p.m. Governor’s address to young professionals

2:30 p.m. Panel of elected and involved young professional political representatives This session will provide young professionals the opportunity to engage with a small, diverse panel of elected officials and involved young professionals. The discussion will provide attendees information about politics such as getting involved, understanding the process, promoting leaders, available resources, etc.

3:30 p.m. Breakouts to discuss governor’s objectives for Nebraska YPs
This session will provide business retention and attraction recommendations to Gov. Heineman and other elected officials

4 p.m. Networking reception

This event is a joint effort of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Greater Omaha Chamber, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and the Nebraska State Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Cost is $95 per member and $125 per nonmember.
