Shane and Sunny are both professionally trained in photography from different icons in the photography industry. Shane was trained by his father, who has been a photographer for more than 25 years in Omaha area. Sunny has been trained by a professional photographer in Columbus, Nebraska. Both frequently continue to attend international and national seminars, averaging around three per year. Shane has been working as a professional photographer for over 14 years and Sunny over 10 years and started in the photography business together eight years ago. The couple decided to create their own photography business and to sell themselves first and their company second. Shane’s primary role at Shane and Sunny’s is as photographer while Sunny works as the digital artist and kid whisperer. The two are very passionate about not only photography, but creating personalized images for every single client. They strive to treat every session as it’s the only professional photography session they will ever have.
Shane and Sunny offer a photography style that is very contemporary with modern and traditional twists. The two offer young, fresh ideas while understanding the technical aspects needed to create the best image. Both Shane and Sunny grasp traditional lighting while using this knowledge to think outside the box.
All of the work done at Shane and Sunny Photography is customized, creating a personalized environment with direct contact with Shane and Sunny. The couple specifically created this atmosphere to fully satisfy each customer’s individual needs. Either Shane or Sunny strive to be the first to answer the phone with every call, and they are always the two directly involved with making every customer’s vision a reality. Even while creating the photo albums, Sunny never uses a template, only clients’ ideas.

The two offer more than just a studio and are constantly travelling for sessions, whether it be to a client’s house, the outdoors or weddings and events across the country. Prices for on location shoots are negotiable on a case by case situation. Shane and Sunny offer gift registries for any type of session, a popular feature with babies. They can also accommodate up to 40 people, which is perfect for large families.
