Join us for this year’s National Walk to END EPILEPSY – DC!

We’re excited to announce the National Walk to END EPILEPSY – DC will be taking place in-person for the first time in 3 years on May 6, 2023! Join us in-person at the Nationals Park or virtually to raise awareness and funds to END EPILEPSY. With each step taken and dollar raised, we’re closer to reaching our goal: a world free from epilepsy and free from fear of the next seizure.

There is no fee to register, however when you raise $50 or more you’ll earn this year’s official National Walk to END EPILEPSY – DC T-shirt. Register today!

Event Day Details

Join us at National Park where you can walk the 1 mile route to raise awareness in our community. Get your purple gear ready and plan on making life-lasting memories, worthwhile connections, and hear empowering stories from epilepsy warriors, important messages from Epilepsy Foundation staff and more!

Schedule

8 AM | Arrive and get checked in or get registered and ready to walk! Explore our partner tents, enjoy light refreshments and participate in our family-friendly activities.
9:30 AM | Opening Remarks: Hear from community partners, celebrate our top fundraisers, learn about our mission and recognize our loved ones affected by epilepsy and seizures.
10 AM | Walk! The Walk course will be 1 mile long.
12 PM | Event Ends

Parking

Please park in Parking Garage C and enter the stadiums at the Center Field Gates.

Complimentary parking in Garage C at Nationals Park is available for guests driving to the ballpark.  The garage is located at the corner of N Street SE and First Street SE with the vehicle entrance on First Street SE. When entering the garage, drivers will need to let the parking attendant know that they are there for the event. Guests are encouraged to park near the elevator banks located on each level on the plaza side of the garage. Once parked, take the elevators or stairs down to “PL” (Plaza) which is street level. Once you have exited the garage, turn right to reach N Street.  From here, take a left, and Center Field Gates will be on your left along N Street. Event security will be located at the gate to screen guests into the park.

Clear Bag Policy

Nationals Park has implemented a clear bag policy for all guests entering the ballpark. Any bags larger than a clutch (5” by 7” x ¾”), will no longer be permitted unless the bag is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC. Guests with diaper, medical or laptop bags may use ADA/Family lanes at the Center Field and Home Plate gates. For additional details on the official bag policy, click here.

Old Town Trolley Tour

The fun doesn’t end at the finish line! After the Walk, gather your friends and grab lunch at a nearby venue, then hop on the trolley for your next adventure.
