March 1 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Heartland Cancer Foundation (www.heartlandcancerfoundation.org) has announced that Miss Nebraska, Jessica Shultis, will be a guest speaker at their signature event, Mardi Gras Casino Royale (www.heartlandcancerfoundation.org/mardigras). The event will take place on Friday, March 1 at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel from 6 to 9 p.m. The Heartland Cancer Foundation will also be recognizing outstanding work ethic within their volunteer guild membership. Highlights of the event, emceed by Dean Wysocki of Channel 8 KLKN-TV, will include Bourbon Street happy hour, a raffle, ballroom dinner, live auction, casino gaming, and after-party featuring the band, Thirty Minute Hangover.

There are tickets, tables, and corporate sponsorships available for purchase. Last year’s event raised $47,000 between the silent auction, sponsorships, and goodwill donations. You can help the Heartland Cancer Foundation beat last year’s funds raised by signing up to sponsor or by registering for the event today at www.heartlandcancerfoundation.org/mardigras.
