| $154 Crowns. 1 Night. An Inside Look into the 2023 Miss Lincoln Scholarship Competition
On Saturday, August 19th, the Miss Lincoln Scholarship Competition will crown four new titleholders at the Nebraska Communities Playhouse in Hickman, Nebraska. Miss Lincoln, Miss Capital City, Miss Lincoln’s Teen and Miss Capital City’s Teen will advance to the Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska’s Teen stage next June. Young women from across Nebraska, ages 13-28 are invited to compete for hundreds of dollars in cash scholarships, gain confidence and hone their speaking skills.
Candidates compete in four areas of competition: private interview (30%), health & fitness (20%), talent/HERstory (20%), evening gown (20%) and on-stage conversation (10%).
Tickets are $15. Doors open at 6:00 P.M. with the public show starting at 6:30 P.M. The evening features a silent auction, former Miss Lincoln gown display and appearances by Miss Nebraska 2023, Morgan Baird and Miss Nebraska’s Teen 2023, Boston Pettera.
