Arbor Axe House (arboraxe.com) celebrated their grand opening with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce on October 21. Gathered around the open bay door at 1821 N St, owners Connor Pedersen, Cameron Warnke, Cecelia Orwig, and Madison Jurgens welcomed the community to the redesigned space. Featuring giant Jenga, a pinball machine, and old-school darts in addition to axe throwing and local craft brews, Arbor Axe House hopes to establish itself as a much needed third-space and hangout destination for the local community. Angenita Pierre-Louis and the LCOC team presented the new owners with a shining pair of engraved scissors to welcome them into their organization.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, chamber members, ambassadors, and community partners were invited to throw axes, spears, and throwing stars. Cheers and laughter echoed from the bays as axes flew and cameras flashed.
