CBMC Offers Six-Part Video Series, “Who Needs God?”

CBMC Lincoln (Christian Business Men’s Connection; lincoln.cbmc.com) will be offering a six-part series on Thursdays from 4:30–5:30 p.m., starting on February 14. The series, titled “Who Needs God?,” will take place at the CBMC office (5625 O St., STE 5). Total cost for all six sessions is $15. Space is limited so register soon.

Americans are migrating away from religion at an unprecedented rate—Christianity in particular. Once upon a time, people believed religion offered solutions. Today, many people view religion as the problem, in their office or at home.

Some of the questions this series will address include: Do you have religious doubts? If God exists, why is there evil, pain, and injustice in the world? Does science make God seem unnecessary? When your prayers go unanswered, do you wonder if God exists? Should we really believe something just because the Bible tells us so?

Andy Stanley delivers six compelling messages to help give answers or insights into these questions. He is a pastor, author of more than 20 books, and an insightful and dynamic speaker. In addition to the church he pastors, he has spoken at annual conferences such as Catalyst, Leadercast, and the WCA Global Leadership Summit.
