CBMC to Host Lunch and Learn for Peer Advisory Groups on March 27

CBMC Lincoln (Christian Business Men’s Connection; Lincoln.cbmc.com) will host a Lunch and Learn about their Peer Advisory Groups on Wednesday, March 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the CBMC office (5625 O St., STE 5). The seminar will give an overview of the purpose, function, and benefits of peer advisory groups, as well as demonstrate the elements of a typical meeting. There is no cost to attend.

CBMC’s Peer Advisory Groups are designed to create a community of eight to 12 like-minded business leaders who seek to operate their businesses in a way that glorifies God. Membership in a group is offered to select business owners, leaders, and professionals.

These questions help evaluate if a CBMC Peer Advisory Group would fit your needs and interests: Would you value a confidential setting to share business, personal, and spiritual challenges and successes with others of like mind? Would peers committed to journeying with you in your leadership be of value? Do you often lead alone or feel isolated? Would a regular exchange of best practices integrated with Christian principles bring value to you?

These groups provide biblical and leadership principles and strategies to address issues associated with business objectives, strategic planning, financial management, and human resources, among other topics. CBMC’s Peer Advisory Groups connect you with seasoned leaders who will provide wise counsel, mutual support, accountability, prayer, and close relationships, all in a confidential environment. A short video describing these groups can be found at Lincoln.cbmc.com.
