This year, Continuum EAP celebrates 40 years of service to employees and their families. In 1974, the Lincoln Council on Alcoholism and Drugs, Inc. applied for and received a grant to establish an employee assistance program. Lincoln EAP was then established and continued to grow into a financially secure business. During the organization’s 25th anniversary, the name was changed from Lincoln EAP to Continuum EAP.
Since the beginning in 1974, Continuum EAP has been serving clients in a variety of areas including stress management, drug and alcohol abuse, communication and conflict issues, legal or financial, marital and family difficulties, job stressors, depression or anxiety and much more. Their experienced workplace consultants also offer assistance with employee performance management, crisis response and supervisory skills and leadership development.
Continuum EAP continues to serve many of their original Lincoln customers, but has also expanded in order to offer services to workplaces throughout Nebraska and across the United States. Led by a board of directors who are made up of representatives of its companies, the organization looks forward to continuing to assist in promoting positive workplace services for both employers and employees.
