The Green Gateau Restaurant and Catering Company is pleased to announce they are celebrating their 20th anniversary. Owners Eric and Cristi Lemke would like to sincerely thank all of their many guests and their dedicated and loyal staff who have made the last 20 years possible. The local support they have always received has been humbling, inspiring, and greatly appreciated.
The Green Gateau opened its doors on October 26th, 1992 to provide the city with a comfortable, warm, and elegant restaurant serving an eclectic mix of fine food and freshly baked breads and pastries. As the popularity of the restaurant grew, so did its size. The restaurant added three rooms, expanded the hours of operation, and eventually opened The Green Gateau Reception Center at Windsor Stables in the building to the East. Eric Lemke was hired as Executive Chef in 2000, was promoted to partner, and is currently sole owner with his wife Cristi who acts as Banquet Coordinator.
The Green Gateau Restaurant is open M-F 11-2/5-9, Sat. 8-9, and Sun. 8-3. The Reception Center at Windsor Stables is available for weddings, corporate events, and holiday parties, as well as offering full service catering.
