As a former premier Husker bar in the Lincoln Haymarket, Sweep Left is excited to announce they have re-opened under new ownership and management just in time for football season! Sweep Left was originally opened in 1976 by three Husker football players, and owner Mary Jones is pleased to continue the tradition by maintaining its original focus as a sports bar with a football theme. The new Sweep Left will be a 2013 version of the original 1976 establishment, as they are in the exact same location at 815 O Street and feature the same classic “Sweep Left” name. Not only are they very excited to be open and a part of the Haymarket district, Sweep Left is also pleased announce they will be opening their kitchen on Tuesday, September 3rd. Their menu will feature several classic American pub fare items, including square pizzas with a wide variety of toppings as their signature menu item.
