Lincoln Mayor Receives Keys to New Police Department Natural Gas Vehicle in Lincoln, Nebraska

Mayor Chris Beutler accepted the keys to the City’s first police vehicle that runs on natural gas at a news conference on Thursday, October 25 at Lincoln Composites, 5117 N.W. 40th Street.

Lincoln Composites, Black Hills Energy, Eric’s Electric and Fuel Conversion Solutions of Grain Valley, Mo., donated the conversion kit and the cost of the conversion to the City of Lincoln.

Public officials and community leaders attended and Lincoln NGVs from Pepsi, Eric’s Electric, Lincoln Airport Authority, Black Hills Energy and the library’s bookmobile were on display.
