Milestone Local Surfaces was founded by Jen Carlson and Josh Shear, who are also founders of Straw Sticks & Bricks, a Lincoln-based business that has carried green building materials since 2001. The manufacture of these recycled glass countertops is an evolution of their work and interest in the green building industry. So many green products are made overseas – Milestone’s work is a refreshing local approach that also helps deal with hard to recycle materials.
Milestone’s facility is located at 245 N 3rd Street in Lincoln.
