Sun Valley Lanes Hosts PWBA Lincoln Open and Regional
Sun Valley Lanes (sunvalleylanes.com) proudly hosted the PWBA Lincoln Open May 9–11, with the PWBA Regional held on May 12. The PWBA Open was a singles scratch tournament, open to all Professional Women’s Bowling Association (PWBA) members and all female USBC (United States Bowling Congress) members with an average of 180 or higher. The single-day PWBA Regional events took place in conjunction with a PWBA Tour stop, with Lincoln, NE being one of five host markets selected across the United States. Other sites selected included Parma Heights, OH; Rohnert Park, CA; East Hartford, CT; and Orlando, FL. The format included eight games of qualifying before the field was cut to the top four competitors for a stepladder final. All PWBA Regional events were live streamed on BowlTV and there was a guaranteed minimum prize fund of $4,000 with a 1:3 payout ratio.
