Sun Valley Lanes to Open Sand Volleyball Courts, League Games Kick Off May 2

Sun Valley Lanes & Games (sunvalleylanes.com/sandvolleyball), as a part of a $4 million renovation and expansion, is opening three high-end sand volleyball courts. Each court will have walk-up bar accessible from outside of the building, easily accessible bathrooms, and seating for players and spectators. In addition, Sun Valley will be hosting a league to bring in six-person teams for a fun, competitive time. The season will kick off on May 2. Due to construction delays, the spring season will run for six weeks. All future seasons will run for nine weeks. The registration fee has been adjusted accordingly to reflect the shorter season. Recreational co-ed league nights run Sunday through Friday. There are also true beginner co-ed and recreational ladies night slots on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a recreational guys night on Mondays. Registration opened March 17 and must be done on the Sun Valley website.

Sun Valley Lanes & Games, located at 321 Victory Ln., is Lincoln’s largest and most modern entertainment center.
