Sweep Left recently hosted their grand opening in conjunction with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony on September 13. Officially open to the public on August 16th, the legendary Sweep Left is a new bar and grill located in the Haymarket District under the “O” Street overpass at 815 O Street. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony Sweep Left had a live remote with 92.9 The Eagle radio station from 6-8 pm. They served cake and samples of their homemade pizza to all guests in attendance. Guests could also register for free t-shirts and other giveaways throughout the evening.
Sweep Left was originally opened in 1976 by three Husker football players, and is pleased to continue the tradition by maintaining its original focus as a sports bar with a football theme. Open 7 days a week, Sweep Left offers a full menu of drinks and food and will always offer their complimentary, homemade hot & spicy pretzels!
