Visit Lincoln (lincoln.org/taste27)is excited to announce the Taste 27th campaign, celebrating global flavors and local eateries that are located along Lincoln’s North 27th Street. The campaign features 23 restaurants serving Mexican, Ethiopian, Middle Eastern, Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Guatemalan and other cuisines.
“By showcasing culture through food in locations that span the globe, Taste 27th highlights our vibrant community and how it is truly the people that make the place. Come hungry, come often and be prepared to be amazed by the incredible food right here in Lincoln,” says Jeff Maul, executive director-vice president of Visit Lincoln.
Taste 27th emphasizes the distinct and diverse neighborhoods along North 27th Street, aligning with the Vitality Lincoln Strategic Plan’s goal of promoting Lincoln’s destination districts.
To help guide you along your 27th street experience, there is a passport and mobile check-in component to complement Taste 27th. Visit Lincoln is using the same mobile check-in procedures used for previously successful Visit Lincoln passports.
Full details about Visit Lincoln’s Taste 27th project can be found at (lincoln.org/taste27). A fall passport series featuring seasonal outdoor activities and spaces will also be available soon at (lincoln.org/passports).
