On Friday, April 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., University Place Community Organization
and University Place Business Association
invite will hold an event called “Stepping Out”. This event is free and open to the public and is made possible in part through a grant from Neighborworks Lincoln. State Representative, Amanda McGill will be on hand to give a few remarks.
The “Academy of Rock” will kick off “Stepping Out” at Huntington Elementary School, 2900 N 46th Street, at 5p.m. Join these young musicians as they get you excited for a night on the town in University Place. Then walk the University Place Business District around N. 48th street to join local businesses and organizations for art, food, culture, and family fun.
