(YTB), a company focusing services around construction project consultation, recently added free contractor screening to their services. Free of charge, YTB pre-screens contractor candidates for clients before a contractor is selected and a project begins. The free pre-screening service includes a background check, including information gathering of specialties, reference check and completion of the 10-Point Customer Satisfaction questionnaire from their website. Finally, as part of the service, YTB will verify the contractor’s state license and registration in addition to collecting a copy and verifying their current contractor insurance.
YTB was recently founded when owners Darren Murray and David Kennedy had the realization through their own experiences and customer feedback. They took the feedback and created a service that acts as a liaison between client and contractor to ensure the best experience for both parties, providing personnel who have knowledge in the construction industry and who know what to look for and what questions to ask about bids, costs, or anything relating to home or business projects.
