Cause for Paws is pleased to announce they held a ribbon cutting on June 28th to celebrate their 1400 sq ft. addition.
Cause for Paws is a resale store that carries women’s, juniors and soon men’s clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, household items and décor and pet products. All items from their store are donated and the workers are volunteers. At the end of the month after all of their bills are paid, 100% of their proceeds support local and Nebraska animal charities such as Hearts United, Capitol Humane Society, The Cat House, Dogs Deserve Better, Golden Retriever Rescue, Big Dog-Huge Paw, The Lincoln Animal Ambassadors and the Nebraska Wildlife Rescue to name a few. To date (two and a half years after opening), over $100,000 has been donated.
Cause for Paws is a 501 c3 non profit company. Their expansion will be done in August and a grand re-opening is scheduled for September 15th. Cause for Paws also offers after hour parties where the store is opened to a group or organization for shopping and discounts. In addition, they offer coffee, tea, personal service and personal shopping to all of their customers and a pet friendly environment for their shoppers with furry friends.
