City Impact’s “Gifts of Love”™ 2010 witnessed 900+ community volunteers offering dignity to Lincoln’s low-income families from Dec. 7-15 at First Baptist Church.  In its 15th year, “Gifts of Love”™ provided new Christmas gifts for over 1500 children, selected by parents/guardians.  City Impact students also shopped at the community Christmas store to select gifts for their relatives using earned voucher money.  City Impact students enrolled in weekly Bible Clubs and the Impact Leadership Academy for teens earned “bucks” with good attendance, doing their devotions and meeting high standards of behavior.

City Impact’s year-round programs are dependent upon volunteers who share a vision to serve and see lives transformed from the inside out, to break the cycle of poverty.
