HBAL’s Home & Garden Show Set for February 11-13, Celebrates 50 Years
The Nebraska Builders Home & Garden Show (www.hbal.org) is celebrating 50 years! The Home Show is produced by the Home Builders Association of Lincoln (HBAL) and is the perfect “one-stop shop” to start your home building or remodeling project. This year will feature approximately 175 exhibitors in Pavilions 1 and 4 at the Lancaster Event Center beginning Friday, February 11, through Sunday, February 13. You can find a directory of exhibitors and a schedule of events at www.hbal.org/builders-home-garden-show.
HBAL will also begin accepting applications for scholarships valued at $1,000 each in January. These scholarships are awarded to high school seniors from southeast Nebraska high schools who will be attending an accredited college, university, or technical college and majoring in one of the construction fields. HBAL also offers a $1,500 President’s Scholarship which is awarded to a high school senior who has a parent, grandparent, or other relative who owns or works for an HBAL member company. HBAL’s Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation has given over $260,000 to the Lincoln community, and almost one-third of these contributions support scholarships for students entering a residential construction field.
The Home Builders Association of Lincoln has been working to promote the home building and remodeling industries in Lincoln since 1951.
