The Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB) is thanking blood donors this holiday season by turning the days between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve into a Week of Giving.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 24 through Monday, Dec. 31, everyone who registers to donate blood at any NCBB location or blood drive will have the opportunity to choose an envelope containing a variety of prizes. Prizes will include Nebraska Lottery scratch tickets, books by local writer, Mary Jane Nielsen, Raising Canes buy one, get one cards and other great giveaways. In addition, one donor will receive a gift certificate for a Super Bowl tailgate party for 20 compliments of Raising Canes.
This is third year NCBB has been able to thank donors in this unique way. It continues to be a great reminder to donors about the critical need for blood products during the winter months, especially during the holidays.
