The Ambassador Health System’s Lincoln facility, located at 4405 Normal Boulevard, recently hosted a Lincoln Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting event in conjunction with an open house to celebrate the expansion of its transitional rehabilitation program. The newest addition includes a therapy gym that features the only AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill with LiftAccess in the city of Lincoln, as well as inspirational artwork by Mural Mural Graphics. The therapy gym expansion project began in April and includes 1290 square feet of additional space for physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. The Ambassador Lincoln cares for approximately 400 short-term, rehabilitation patients annually and the new addition supports the organization’s goal of returning patients to their prior level of independence and ultimately to return them to their own home.
