Christian Record Services for the Blind is hosting a 5K event to raise awareness about the importance of eye health. The 5K 4Vision Eye Run/Walk will be on Sunday, October 13 at 1 pm at Holmes Lake Park in Lincoln. Run and walk participants will discover several “Fact or Fiction” eye health signs along the event route. In addition to the 5K, the public is welcome to explore a braille trail (a tactile scavenger hunt) and play beeper kickball. Registration for walk and run participants is open through October 9. Visit http://bit.ly/5K4Vision to run, walk, or donate. Funds raised through 5K 4Vision will support free programs for people who are blind or visually impaired.
