The Lincoln Community Foundation Garden Performance Series (formally the Downtown Performance Series) has announced its summer series of concerts, to be held each Wednesday afternoon from noon to 1 pm at the Foundation Gardens (1415 N St). Bring lunch and enjoy the weather and entertainment as well as the beautiful garden itself. Concerts are free to the public.
The summer schedule is: June 1, PANgea Steel Drum Band; June 8, Nebraska Brass; June 15, Capital City Dance Shack; June 22nd, ZanZoa Jazz Fusion/Blues; June 29, En Pointe Dance Academy; July 6, The Melody Wranglers; July 13, OK Chorale; July 20, Lincoln Summer Youth Ensemble; July 27, Club Kicks; August 3, Nebraska Trumpet Ensemble; August 10, The Cronin Brothers; August 17, The Resonators; August 24, CoolPoppas and August 31, Broad Appeal.
