The 3rd Annual Short Bowel Syndrome Foundation (SBSF) Golf Scramble is quickly approaching, and it’s time to start practicing those swings and putts, shine those clubs and hit the greens for some practice! This year’s event will be held at The Highlands Golf Course on August 10th, with tee off beginning at 8 a.m. and lunch provided afterwards, along with a Raffle Drawing and Silent Auction. Last year 52 registered golfers participated, and the event raised a little over $10,000 for patient support funding and education. In 2013, $6,000 is going to benefit SBS patients directly—this is just one of the reasons to come and support SBSF and its endeavors in the SBS community. Donations and funding will not only benefit SBS patients, but will continue in development of education and outreach materials for patients and families.
