Five Nebraska Non-Profits to Receive $5,000 in Services From Firespring

Firespring (www.firespring.com), one of the largest marketing communications firms in the Midwest, is donating $5,000 in services to five Nebraska non-profit organizations. The five were selected by a committee that evaluated nearly 400 nominations for the company’s 5K giveaway program and serve a variety of needs in their communities.

Bridges to Hope is a Lincoln non-profit that helps former offenders transition from incarceration to life out of prison.

Children’s Museum of Central Nebraska provides exhibits designed to let children explore their curiosity and creativity.

COPE (Christian Outreach Program–Elkhorn), located in Elkhorn, is a non-denominational organization dedicated to helping families facing temporary hardship.

Produce From the Heart based in Lincoln seeks to fight hunger and reduce food waste by harvesting, gathering and distributing fresh produce that might otherwise be thrown out.

Voice Advocacy Center in Omaha is an advocate for children and adults with dyslexia and related reading disorders.

Founder and CEO Jay Wilkinson said Firespring chose to donate its services as a way to celebrate the company’s fifth year on Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 5000” list of America’s fastest-growing companies.

“Serving our communities is a vital part of Firespring’s culture,” said Wilkinson. “We’re looking forward to working with these worthy organizations to determine how we can help them grow.”

The selected non-profits will be able to choose from Firespring’s wide range of advertising, communications, printing and technology services.
