Air Force Association Lincoln Chapter Thanks Annual Scholarship Golf Scramble Supporters

The Lincoln Chapter #187 of the Air Force Association (AFA; www.afa.org) would like to thank the golfers and sponsors who took part in their annual scholarship golf scramble on September 24, along with Wilderness Ridge for hosting the event.

All proceeds from the tournament went towards facilitating aerospace education in Nebraska communities. With the funds raised, Lincoln Chapter #187 was able to present three $1,000 scholarships to deserving ROTC and Civil Air Patrol cadets.

This year’s general sponsors included: Black Hills Energy, NE Alumni Assn., ROTC & Military Affiliate, and Anne Winner, JD of Keating Law. The Lincoln Chapter #187 of the Air Force Association has decided to make this annual event take place on the last Monday of September each year.
