Allstate Foundation Helps Improve the Future for Victims of Domestic Violence

With continued support from the Allstate Foundation (www.allstatefoundation.org), Friendship Home (www.friendshiphome.org) is able to continue the important work of empowering victims to take charge of their financial futures. Using the Allstate Foundation’s curriculum, Moving Ahead Through Financial Management, and thanks to the generous funding of a part-time specialist, Friendship Home has the means and the resources to assist survivors in their quest to build a solid economic foundation for their family.

This is accomplished through one-on-one education and advocacy as well in the organization’s focused Self-Economic Empowerment Drawing on our Strengths (SEEDS) group. Allstate has helped countless victims to discover the tools and the education needed to achieve self-sufficiency as they work to rebuild their lives, free from violence.

Friendship Home provides safe shelter, support and advocacy for victims of domestic violence and their children. To access shelter and services, call (402) 437-9302. To learn more about Friendship Home, visit www.friendshiphome.org.
