Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln (bbbsl.org) held their Bigger Together Luncheon on July 28 to salute the transformative one-to-one mentoring work the organization provides Lincoln-area youth and the mentors who help them realize their potential. Through this celebration, $12,356 was raised to support the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters. The sponsors that made this possible included D.A Davidson, Muchachos, Lutz, Frontier Bank, Bok Financial, A1 Automotive, Realty Works, Giving Realty, Workforce Science Associates, Olsson, United Way of Lancaster County, A+ Logistics LLC, and Nelnet.

For more than 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln has been making matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and young people (“Littles”) ages 7-16 throughout Lincoln. Your support helps develop positive friendships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. Bigs can provide new and inspiring opportunities for Littles to explore the community and learn skills that they may not have otherwise had an opportunity to experience. This unique, community-based, one-to-one mentoring is a national, evidence-based program that has a measurable impact. Mentors play an important role in helping young people achieve their full potential.
