Bright Lights, a local summer education enrichment program for elementary and middle school students, is pleased to announce three new board members and the 2015 Executive committee.
Joining the Board are Jake Muhleisen, Vice President Commercial Loans, Union Bank & Trust Company; Stephanie Rodriguez, Senior Human Resources Coordinator, Olsson Associates; and Jeff Rust, Principal, Hartley Elementary School. These new members bring strong leadership, financial and educational qualities to the current Board of Directors supporting the Bright Lights goal of providing a distinct learning program each summer.
The new Executive Committee includes: President, Barbara George; Vice-President, Brad Penner; Secretary, Monica Henkenius; Treasurer, Brian Runge; Past President, Cathy Hedstrom.
Bright Lights is a non-profit organization providing quality summer learning for students K-9th grades. The emphasis of the program is to prevent summer learning loss while creating hands-on learning adventures for three weeks each summer.
