City Impact’s Impact Reading Center
(IRC) is gearing up for the 2nd semester. The IRC works with struggling readers at Elliott and Clinton Elementary schools, in central Lincoln, during the school day. Each week over 100 volunteers invest in these young lives and are seeing great results.
An investment of just 40-60 minutes a week can make a huge impact in a student’s life! One IRC volunteer commented “I created a connection with my student and am making a difference in his life.”
Would you consider investing your time in these students? Easy training is provided. We need a dozen more volunteers to sign up for the 2nd semester! You can view available times at cityimpact.org.
