This June, Cleaver-Brooks celebrated the 10th anniversary of their company golf outing at Firethorn Golf Club. Over 140 golfers from across the country and Canada arrived ready for golf, dinner and a charity auction benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters. At the conclusion of the evening Cleaver-Brooks presented a check for $190,000 to Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters, which marked a total of one million dollars raised by the tournament over the last 10 years.

In spite of weather conditions that were less than favorable, the Cleaver-Brooks family once again stepped up to the plate in a very big way. The evening concluded with dinner and the annual charity auction where Big Sister Kelsi and Little Sister Cadence were the honored guests. During the auction, an anonymous bidder purchased a trip for a Little Brother in the program to be the “bat boy” during a Milwaukee Brewers baseball game.

HBBBS continues to be overwhelmed, extremely grateful and excited about what these donations mean for helping youth in our community to reach their full potential with the support of a Big Brother or Big Sister.
