The Lincoln Municipal Band will continue its 2012 Summer Concert Series on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., with a concert entitled “Cool Cars & Hot Music,” conducted by music director Bob Krueger. This concert will feature festive and patriotic favorites including “Festive Overture,” “Porgy and Bess,” “Nobles of the Mystic Shrine,” and “America the Beautiful.” Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy a beautiful evening of music, family, and friends!
The Lincoln Municipal Band will also be joined by Assistant Music Director Terry Rush as trombone soloist. Terry will perform “Malaguena” and “Thoughts of Love.”
All Lincoln Municipal Band concerts are held at the John Shildneck Memorial Bandshell in Antelope Park and are FREE and open to the public.
